Niseko resort season
Niseko is where FUYU started, and it's the most internationally known resort in Hokkaido.
We offer private ski lessons here, plus a mountain guiding course found nowhere else — the fastest way to really explore the mountain.
Lessons run from age 3 to 70, with a dedicated toddler course for under-7s.
Who Niseko Lessons Are For
First time skiing
Your coach will check your gear is fitted correctly, then teach you how to stand, control your speed, and turn. Niseko has plenty of beginner-friendly runs, so there's no shortage of space to practise.

Skied a few times, want real progress
Your coach gives you a clear direction to practise in and works through your specific issues with you. This is what we do best — helping you actually reach the goal you came in with.

Already comfortable, want to be taken exploring
Niseko is the only resort where we offer mountain guiding — your guide takes you across the whole mountain, including natural terrain beyond the marked runs. Both intermediate and advanced guiding options exist; ask our team.

Kids can start from age 3. Under-7s are one-on-one lessons with full attention from a specialist coach.

Want to try night skiing
One of the largest night-skiing areas in Japan — great for practice and for photos. The resort at night is genuinely beautiful.

Night skiing in Niseko
Niseko runs one of the largest night-skiing operations in Japan. Grand Hirafu alone has four lifts running and nine runs open at night.

Far fewer people than daytime, with strong lighting throughout — visibility isn't an issue.
Something most guests don't know: night skiing runs on the gondola, so you're inside a cabin going up rather than exposed to wind on a chairlift. It's warmer than people expect.
If you're staying in Hirafu, restaurants and bars are right at the base of the runs — ski until evening, then walk straight to dinner. That's the best part of night skiing in Niseko.

Lift tickets aren't included in the lesson fee — you'll need to buy them separately. Day passes range from ¥6,300 to ¥13,500 depending on season.
Multi-day passes must be used on consecutive days — skip a day and you lose it. If your trip has a gap, a points pass or 50-hour pass is better value. Tickets are required from age 4.

Getting to Niseko
About 2.5 to 3 hours from New Chitose Airport. Three main bus options: Resort Liner, White Liner, and Hokkaido Chuo Bus — prices and schedules adjusted yearly, plus early-bird fares.
