Your guide is also a FUYU coach, and takes you to the powder terrain that suits the day's snow best. Every coach carries the avalanche kit (rental also available), so you have fun and ski safely.

Coaches train four days a week: teaching, reading the terrain, safety, demonstration and professionalism. That is what every lesson is built on.

Terms
Terrain still inside the resort that the groomers have not touched. The area beyond a gate, outside the resort's boundary. Runs deliberately left ungroomed, keeping their natural bumps and snow. It feels completely different from groomed snow and takes more effort, but on a good snow day it is a joy, and it needs a fair amount of control. A controlled opening the resort makes in its boundary, opened only when conditions are safe.
Price and what to bring
- Board or skis: Either is fine. If you are unsure, ask us first
- Lift pass: Depends on the day's route; a half-mountain pass also works
- Avalanche kit: Avalanche kit rental available
How the day runs
- Before the day: our team asks about your experience and the terrain you want to ski
- Meet: we hand out the avalanche kit and show you how to use it (skip this if you are experienced)
- Set off: your coach reads the snow as you ski and decides the route
- Finish: your coach tells you which terrain you covered today and what is still out there
