Choose Your Lesson
We match you with the right coach for where you actually are — whether you ski or snowboard, and whatever your level or goals.
Which Level Am I?
| Level | Who it's for | Snowboard Technique | Ski Technique | Terrain |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Beginner | First time on snow, or can only go straight | Learning to stop, basic turning, heel-side and toe-side | Snowplough, basic turns, learning to control speed | Gentle nursery slopes |
| Intermediate | Can turn and stop confidently on green / easy blue runs | Linked turns, basic carving, riding both edges | Parallel turns on groomed runs, starting to vary speed | Blue runs, groomed pistes |
| Advanced | Comfortable on most groomed runs, some off-piste experience | Carving, switch riding, basic park or powder | Dynamic parallel, short turns, variable snow and pitch | Black runs, light off-piste, moguls |
| Expert | Riding confidently in all conditions, looking to refine or push further | High-performance carving, freestyle, backcountry | Race technique, steep couloirs, deep powder, moguls at speed | Double black, backcountry, park |

Private Ski Lessons
From your very first run to carving steep terrain — we match you with a coach based on where you actually are, not a generic difficulty label. Tell us your level and goals and we'll assign the right fit. Beginner, intermediate, advanced, off-piste, race technique — all covered.
Your coach for this lesson:
We assign coaches based on your specific level and goals. Whether you're a first-timer or working on advanced technique, your coach is chosen to match.
Lesson Planning
Not sure how many lessons to book?
Not sure whether to book a half day or full day? A half-day lesson is a good introduction for first-timers or young children. A full-day lesson gives your coach more time to build skills, practise them across different terrain, and make meaningful progress. For guests skiing for several days, we usually recommend starting with one lesson day and adding another if needed.
